Woman Killed In Fort Lauderdale Truck Accident

One woman died after a food truck collided with a pick-up truck. The collision occurred on the southbound lane of I-75. The woman was sitting in the passenger side of the food truck when the pick-up truck crashed into the food truck. She was thrown from the vehicle and then ran over by the food truck.

The woman was in her mid-20s. Officials stated that the woman would likely still be alive if she had been wearing her seatbelt. The person who drove the pick-up suffered minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital. The driver has been released from the hospital.
