Four drivers in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. are fortunate to still be alive after they were involved in a fiery car accident. The gas tank ignited upon impact. Another truck and car were also involved in the accident.

Restaurant worker Marquis Hoggins heard the crash when it occurred and came out to see if he could help. He ran to the scene and helped to pull an unconscious woman from her car after helping another man break the window. The woman regained consciousness a few seconds later and was found by Pompano Beach Fire Rescue paramedics about 200 yards from the crash site with critical injuries that included burns. She was immediately removed to Broward Health North. There was no word on the injury condition of the other three drivers.

The accident occurred at 7 a.m. The accident investigation and the clean-up process were completed at approximately 10:30 a.m., at which time the road was once again open to traffic.
